Dr. Spencer Wood is an internationally renowned speaker and dynamic trainer of athletes and coaches in the areas of cutting-edge Mental Skills & Toughness Training; and is a board certified therapist (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. As an author, teacher and speaker over the past 20 years, Spencer has presented at events such as the Nike Football Coach of the Year Awards, the Men’s and Women’s NCAA/WBCA Final Four, the National Soccer Coaches Association’s Conference, the ABCA (Baseball) National Convention, and the NFCA (Softball) National Conference, among many other marquee national and international sports conventions and seminars.  In addition, Dr. Wood has impacted championship teams and programs in the NCAA Division I SEC, Big Ten, ACC, Big East, Pac-12, Big 12, Atlantic Ten, CAA, Horizon, Missouri Valley, and Big Sky conferences.

Dr. Wood has also successfully implemented Mental Skills & Toughness Training workshops and programs for numerous national teams for the World Championships, World Cup and Olympic Games, and for teams in professional leagues such as the NBA and Major League Baseball. His work with many of these elite teams, leagues, and programs have garnered media coverage on networks such as NBC and ESPN.
