Icebox Athlete President, Dr. Spencer Wood rehired by MLB team for 5th consecutive season
The Detroit Tigers have extended their ‘Mental Skills Coach’ relationship with Icebox founder Dr. Spencer Wood to provide mental skills and toughness training services throughout the Detroit Tigers organization, with primary responsibility for the Major League Players. The training responsibilities will include between 80-100 home and away games with the team, reporting to Al Avila.
Following the contract extension Dr. Wood commented:

In addition to their history of sustained excellence, the Detroit Tigers have an incredible vision for the future and have the coaches, staff members, and players to continue to build toward that vision. I am truly honored and privileged to be a part of such a dynamic and innovative organization.”
